What can you make with meat or poultry, rice, cheese and a vegetable?

It’s a mish mash of food for me. I made almost exactly this tonight except for the cheese because I went to our local farmers market at the hospital which comes every Friday for us.

I grilled some chicken and cooked some rice. Steamed some veggies and mixed it all together. Dinner time. I also put in a little garlic because I just love garlic. Of course I used a little Mrs. Dash on my chicken too. If I had some shreded parm I’d prolly put a little bit of that on top.

    My kind of cooking, and eatingf. :coffee:
    Hubby calls me a refrigerator cook, I open the refrigerator and see what’s there and cook. lol I think if you like the individual elements, it’s generally good all together. Almost anything can be put over pasta or rice for a quick meal. Adding veggies and fruits add color, nutrition and saves another pan!

    You are so lucky to have a farmer’s market. Our town is trying to get one again. I hope it works this time.
