Football Terms

So I’m at the local restaurant as usual on a Saturday night and was hoping to watch the Dallas/atlanta game but they didn’t have the NFL network. One of the guys ended up going upstairs to the bar to watch the first half because they subscribed to it and came back down during half time and told us it was “21 up”. Now we are like wtf are you talking about who has 21 points? He’s like you don’t know anything about football if you don’t know that “21 up” means its 21 all. That’s bullshit and he’s must’ve been drunker than normal because we all watch football religously and none of us had heard of that shit. So, have you heard of that before and if so who thought up that stupid shit??

Actually….that’s a common way to say the score is tied up around here….but usually referred to more in basketball games.
