		<description>Just for the record, we tried everything within our power to get Piper out of that tree. We did not "leave her up there". We called 50+ organizations to ask for help and my husband wanted to climb the tree himself but our neighbor was concerned about liability issues. We spent hours everyday at the base of this tree trying to coax her down. This was NO SMALL TREE! I do not want anyone thinking we left her up there! Thank you.

		<description>Wow! Thanks for posting such an amazing story! I actually heard that cats are better off when they fall long distances rather than shorter, because they have a chance to right themselves before landing.</description>
