Well I knew it wasn’t going to be too much longer but I didn’t think it was going to be this weekend either. I’ve already started my freakishly long and scary water bug massacre of the season. This one managed to make it all the way upstairs to the ceiling in the stairway hallway when I spotted the sucker. Luckily, I still had a Raid can in my bedroom from last season sitting beside the TV which I never bothered to bring down to the kitchen and so I jumped through the doorway to get in and out of the bedroom with the can and then sprayed the little sucker till he fell down and put the Raid can on top of him until I could get something more substantial to weight him down until he died because I am not about to go picking those things up if they are still moving around. You can refer to my last debacle with one during the night 2 years ago here. At least I got this one before it could crawl in my covers and you better believe I wear clothes now to bed.
Now onto the mole front. Still have one, maybe even two. I was mowing the lawns this past week and not only are there tunnels in the owners yard next door but I found tunnels in my side yard now too. Exactly what does one need to do to get rid of these varmints because the dogs sure aren’t having any luck with it in either yard. Granted the owner only has a Pomeranian so really he couldn’t do any damage but mine are hunting dogs for christs sake.
