Credit Cards Are Evil

Right now I have no credits cards not only is it by choice but nobody would give me one now thanks to my brother-in-laws repo of a boat that was in my name that I am STILL dealing with. Unfortunately though, credit cards are a necessary evil in this time and space only for the fact that most people do not make what they should be. I know I don’t and with living by myself I have to have 2 jobs to make ends meet and anything else I can find for a bonus so I can do things personally. With the ease of shopping online it makes it even tougher for folks not to get a credit card but more importantly not to use it. You do need to look for certain things when obtaining one though and make sure you compare credit cards for the differences, like the option for balance transfers and earning money with the card you choose because there are so many of those options out there. Essentially it boils down to if you can manage yourself with one. If you know you can, great, if you think you can, or you know you cannot, you may want to rethink about getting one. But in a pinch they can come in quite handy.

  1. Credit cards can be really powerful if you use them responsibly! It’s safer then carrying around a buttload of cash with you and you cut off the funds as soon as you find out it’s missing.

  2. Actually that’s a cop out because debit cards are essentially the same thing. That’s what I carry around and it acts as a credit card when need be or an ATM card and it all comes out of my checking out. So it’s really simple, if you have no money in the account, you can’t spend it.
