I have been wearing contact lenses since I was in the fifth grade. I’ve been wearing glasses since second grade if I’m not mistaken due to nearsightedness. Kids can tease you something big when you have glasses and/or braces on so contacts are great. I was nervous at first because I had to put my finger on my eyeball, now what kid wouldn’t? I was also screwed if I lost one of them because that was a rule that if I lost one of them I’d have to go back to my glasses. That just was not feasible. Been wearing them ever since and only put my glasses on when I’m ready for bed or sick. I have had colored contact lenses before but now I am back to just the clear ones because I have blue eyes anyways. I also use the daily wear because I just cannot leave them in overnight and sleep in them. They feel icky in the morning because I have done that a few times by mistake and when you wake up you are like whoa I can see and then it dawns on you that you have them in. Brings you right back down again lol
