Commercials

You know I understand commercials are made for us to want things and sometimes inform us of things but someone tell me how and why a child needs a cell phone these days? That one commercial where a child asks for a cell phone and the mother says it’s too expensive and wouldn’t she like a tattoo instead? I mean really. What is she 9-10? Children have no need for phones at that age. Heck, they shouldn’t have them in school during high school either. I managed to go through school with out a cell phone, pager or a PDA and lived to tell about it. Why can’t they?
