You know, at times I miss my cat. I do not normally allow my dogs on my bed, that was always reserved for just my cat. This morning, however, Stormy (23 lbs) decided to hop up on the bed and then pummeled me to get to my face to lick it to death to wake me up because “she” wanted to play. Now she didn’t want to play with Pepper (48 lbs), she wanted to play with me. Well once Pepper saw Stormy on the bed, it was fair game I’m guessing because she hopped herself up there on me as well. Inky, my cat used to sleep on top of me, she was only about 6-7 lbs, she kept me warm during the night. In the morning she would be very gentle about it but when she’d want me up she’d bite my nose. I think I prefer that over getting pummeled.

We (my wife and me) used to let our cat sleep with us. But she (the cat) had the habit of walking on our faces every now and than in the middle of the night, so put a stop to it.
