"Your grass is alive" That is the first sentence in the requirement section for this post. Now my question is, if the grass is alive is it screaming in pain when my dogs dig the heck out of it to obtain the grubs underneath the grass? Does it scream in pain when they dig in other spots for the mole I have that I cannot seem to eradicate? I only wish I had some photos of my backyard right now to attach to this so you can see what the dogs have done. My grass used to be full and lush before that mole showed up.
At this point I need to dig up the dirt behind my back fence since no one lives there to fill the holes and THEN I can use the Scotts® Snap® Spreader System to help grow some more grass for the dogs to dig up. Of course I will need to use the Southern Weed & Feed pac because I have so much dollarweed you have no idea. Honestly, at first I thought it was a bunch of malformed clovers because they are soft to walk on bare foot which is how I roll most of the time at home. Hopefully it will kill the other weeds I have too. You know the ones with the yellow flowers that turn into balls of white fluff that sprout more weeds when they float off into the wind.
The snap spreader system seems simple enough. You just set the Snap-Pac on the spreader and the system auto-sets the proper flow rate and off you go walking your yard. Once done the Snap Pac self-seals so you do not have to touch the contents of the bag at all.
Be sure to check out Snap perks on Facebook as Scotts will publish any promotions or contests on there.
So I was at the local hang out last week after class for some food and noticed the walls were essentially discarded of all paraphernalia. I found out the owner was going to repaint the walls, 2 colors we did not like by the way, and texted the owner to let her know that. It just so happened some friends were there when I got there. We also found out she was going to paint the walls that night.
That immediately jolted us out of our seats to grab some markers and start writing all over the walls. You can make the pictures large if you want to see what we wrote. The heart one was for a friend that died last year from cancer. Levi is a friend new grandson. Toothpicks is an inside joke from another friend who moved back to Seattle to work for Boeing a few years back. I’m not sure who drew that picture on the napkin but it managed to stay up after everything else was taken down. It is a steakhouse so that was appropriate.

I must admit I am not the most savvy at growing things when in reality to put it plain and simply I kill things off. I am not sure which plant this is but people take cuttings of them and grow them in water. They hang from the potted plant things. I've killed it. Cactus? I've killed it. Herbs? I've killed them. I can't seem to keep anything alive for very long which made me leery about even attempting growing some vegetables. I would love to be able to walk out on the back porch and pick some fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs. It just cannot be that hard to keep things alive right?
I am supposed to be receiving a sample of Miracle Expand ‘n Gro™ Concentrated Planting Mix to try. I actually look forward to this because maybe I will buy a flower or some vegetable seeds to attempt a tiny garden. I have plenty of pots from everything else I have killed off. Even this huge hanging potted plant I had the herbs in. Miracle-Gro guarantees three times the growth. I actually look forward to this because I would even be satisfied with one times the growth or even just any growth compared to the deaths I put forth. Anybody got any tips for not killing things off?
Right now there is a $3 coupon off of Expand ‘n Gro™ on their website if you already use it or would like to try it for yourself. I do believe they are giving away samples as well so be sure to get one to help grow your flowers and vegetables. I think I will try to grow some herbs again first. I really love using chives for everything.
I don't know if you remember when Google had the notebook way back when. I used to save website addresses to that thing all the time and come back to them later as I was not sure I wanted them to take up space in my bookmark list yet and no matter which computer I was at I would have access to it online to be able to add more when I came across them.
With clipix I can now do the same thing but with better functions if you ask me. It has screen shots of what the website actually is which annoyed me about saving in notebook/notepad so half the time I wouldn't remember what it was about from perusing the URL's. I can also make some of the blocks private to only my eyes or open for everyone or just friends. Makes for a sort of wish list if you open it up to everyone. You can share them on Facebook or Twitter as well as sign up with either of those services or just your email.
It is really simple and fast. Just add the clip button to your bookmarks toolbar and whatever site you want saved just click it. It pops up with a window for you to choose where you would like it and an option to change the picture associated with it from whatever pictures are available on the website. Just be careful when you go through the panels you see above with the X because I accidently deleted an entire panel thinking I was just going to delete the one item I thought I had hilighted. Whoops. There is an iPhone app currently in which you just take pictures of things you see to get them added to the panels.
Some of the uses I see this for are my extensive list of ebooks I want to buy, items I think might be good for gifts for others as well as myself, shopping lists, places I'd like to visit, etc. I am sure you could come up with more uses as well. Clipix is on Facebook and Twitter to keep you up to date on what is happening with the service. Check it out for yourself and see how it could start streamlining some of your lists.
I forgot to post a couple after I saw all the commercials. This was a cute M&Ms one.
And the Bud Light commercial with a rescue dog.
Apparently a real plumber came to the property today to check out the leak and of course more wall came down after moving and unhooking my washer and dryer. A lot of water damage to the wood and more mold going down the wall that we couldn’t see because of my washer. Apparently the water is leaking from atop the water heater because she did not have a plumber to put it in. Now mind you this is the 3rd water heater she has had to purchase because hers keep failing for whatever reason.
So now there is a fan blowing air in the hole to dry out the wood as they have some makeshift crap going on to get the water to go on the cement which now puddles everywhere. I mean at least it’s not INSIDE my place. Luckily my utility room is outside the house which I actually don’t like but now I’m glad it is there. I was also told by the owner that the plumber told her she would need to replace some of the 2 x 4′s too. That’s not gonna be cheap but while they are at it fixing the wall back up maybe they ought to actually put a firewall up between the properties like there is supposed to be to begin with.
