1. What did you wear to prom? Include a picture if possible.
My Junior Prom I wore one of the Southern Belle dresses in peach if I remember correctly. I was not allowed to go to my Senior Prom because I did not have a date.
2. Would you rather be on the biggest loser or a food eating challenge?
Eh, biggest loser because there is no way I’d win any sort of food eating challenge due to the fact that I would refuse to eat a lot of stuff they might want me too and be off within minutes of the show starting lol
3. Done fave sonic drink? Refreshing summer drink? (Hey, Kristina…was that a typo, or some “done good” Southern thing?)
A drink from Sonic? Never been there. Favorite summer drink? Sugar Free Kool-Aid Grape.
4. What was your first car, and what did you call it?
Chevrolet something or other and I don’t name my cars.
5. What’s one thing your child or spouse does that sends you over the edge?
I do not have either but the dogs irk me when they keep wanting to go outside every 5 minutes and then back in in 5 minutes.
You cannot get away without one these days especially if you are in business for yourself. Sure we have our home offices and your standard work offices but the virtual office is coming into its own. I know a few people who actually are a group of people in which they rent a space so they can meet clients and have a business address to receive work related mail. If you happen to be traveling a lot for your line of work it might be feasible to search out locations to rent along the way.
Virtual Offices in Brisbane would be spectacular. When you rent space in other countries you can obtain a local address, phone number, receptionist if needed, and complete office communication access.
Along with the being your own company, other jobs can require or be in need of a virtual office as well. Take being a doctor. You need to have access to all medical records if you happen to be on call and at home should the hospital call with a question. With the degrees I am obtaining, I will most likely have a virtual office as well because you cannot fix computers in just one place. You need to go where the work takes you but you also need to have access to your information. Maybe one day I can own my own business as well so I would want to have access to this for the office space and communications. It would be nice to run everything out of your house but if you have to meet clients that would not be the most ideal.

1. Do you make your kids finish all the food on their plates?

2. Do you give an allowance?
Furkids gets treats for being good.
3. Do you actually park your car in the garage?
If I had a garage you bet I would but alas I do not so there it sits in the driveway.
4. What is one food you will NEVER cook?
I have to choose just one? The immediate ones that come to mind are grits, cabbage, steak, liver, etc.
5. Do you have anything exciting planned for the summer?
I take the kids to kidney camp every summer in June. Other than that I plan to get as much sun as possible before the next semester starts at the end of May.

May is National Mobility Awareness Month sponsored by NMEDA (The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association). Now you are probably asking what it is they do. This is a association partnered with many companies to bring mobility to an otherwise disabled person(s). I can only assume if you do not work in the medical field or having a friend or family member that you know that has a mobility disability you might not even think twice about this.
My boss is actually in a motorized wheelchair and has been for many years. He has been working this entire time because he has the mobility to get to places he otherwise would not be able to without his wheelchair. Granted there are certain hindrances with making sure any place he would like to visit is handicap accessible but that is very minor considering it is a requirement by law to be handicap accessible. He lives on an island 3 streets from the beach and will ride down to the pier on weekends for the sites and fresh air.
Over 18 million people in the U.S. and Canada have mobility issues with 6 Million of them being veterans as well as being the 2nd largest minority in the United States. NMEDA is in partnership with BraunAbility, Bruno Independent Living Aids, VMI/Vantage Mobility International, Toyota, Chrysler (this is the vehicle brand my boss had converted to carry around his wheelchair), and SanTan Honda Superstore in Chandler, AZ. So know that people with disabilities can live an active and mobile lifestyle. If you know of someone who is in need of perhaps a new wheelchair accessible vehicle or perhaps obtain their first one, NMEDA will be giving away three custom wheelchair accessible vehicles in May. While on the NMEDA website you can connect with others in through online communities such as their Facebook page and blog.
