You know owning pets is like having kids, it comes with all the ickiness associated with it. Throwing up, poo everywhere, pee everywhere, hair everywhere, toys everywhere. Messes that need to be cleaned up on cloth or rugs are hard and nasty. I have done it. It is not fun and it is not pretty. I actually keep a sheet on top of my car seats now for when the dogs travel only because I have the stain resistent cloth seats but I really do not want to test that out any time soon and if you think about it a sheets really not going to help much.
I’d recommend waterproof car seat and boot covers just because of my experience of cleaning up this stuff. I went to the vet one time with 3 kittens and I don’t know if you have ever seen how they take temperatures but its not pleasant for the animal and when I got the kittens back in the car, I had to take them out of their box because they had pooped all over in it and hence they had poop all over them which in turn got poop all over my car seats. Can you say gross? It smelled. Of course I immediately cleaned it when I got home but ewww there is only so much you can clean without pressing it in even further. Ever since then I used a sheet to cover the seats and thankfully none of them have thrown up before because that’s almost worse than poo.
And you know honestly, these things are good for other things besides using them for just the animals. Babies make messes too as do small children. I’ve seen the results of it and it is just as gross so get your waterproof car seat now.
