I have never been one for some of the pansy sports like baseball, basketball, and racing (yes I know I will get some flack for this one). You just cannot convince me that that is entertainment watching cars go round and round and round for lord knows how long. I like the physical, if not more brutal sports like football, hockey and even on occasion boxing usually only the special events because this is when some of us get together to watch them. Most recently I have seen the commercials for some of the special fights that have been coming up for each of the weight classes. Now if you had not lived in a cave 4 years ago you will remember the fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Paquiao which ended up in a split draw.
Manny Paquiao has decided to remain in the junior lightweight division and challenge Juan Manuel Marquez to a rematch on March 15, 2008 at Mandalay bay in Las Vegas. Be sure to get your Manny Paquiao tickets in early because you know this will be selling out fast if you plan on attending it. Otherwise you can go order it on HBO’s PPV and gather up a group of your friends to watch it because that is almost just as much fun second to being there in person to see it.
