Well I knew it would probably happen this season since it so far has been a bad one. We’ve made it to the final name storm which has been done once before and most likely will have a few more storms before the seasons over with called alpha, beta, gamma, etc. Hurricane Wilma has been named THE strongest storm in history as a Category V hurricane with 884 millibars of pressure. Unfortunately Florida is going to feel this one after it destroys the Grand Caymans. We can all thank global warming for this effect I’m almost sure.

  1. I can’t believe how hard the Gulf has been hit this year. There have been so many storms, and it seemed like all of them were strong storms. I was watching the news this morning, and the weather forecaster said that there are probably more storms after Hurricane Wilma. You must be so exhausted.

There have been so many intense natural disasters all over the world this year. I’m sure global warming has contributed a lot to this, but it seems like various parts of the world have been hit, one after another. Its awful. I can’t even stand to watch the news anymore.

  2. I think that we probably have the technology to destroy hurricanes way out in the middle of the ocean before they even get here. Why don’t we do it???

  3. We have the technology for this? Why the hell aren’t they using it then?!?

  4. Actually, it is worse. 882 mbs of pressure, not 884 mbs for Wilma.
