Hows that song go? Well…either way I have it on authority that I am to be let go by 3 PM today before high tide hits us down here with all the rain that is coming in. With high tide, lotsa rain, and us already below sea level it doesn’t bode well for anybody coming in or going out and your best bet is to get the hail out before it starts rising to its 3-4 feet norm of standing water. Even the big badass people who own SUVs or trucks think they can get through it all and they are the ones who end up stalling out. Then the folks who don’t know about the rain and/or high water levels park there cars on those streets which makes for entertainment for us as we watch them float down the street and there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it because you don’t know who they belong to and there isn’t anything to get down the street to even stop it. That’s gotta suck for some. On the plus side, all the towing people are very familiar and have extra people working on days like this.
