You know with me living on the east coast you’d have thought I would have made it to the Bahamas by now. Nope and the sad thing is I really, really want to go. Being able to see and experience the different beaches, cultures and history of a place is what makes traveling fun. It is not even like it would be that expensive either, for me anyways, considering I’m only 1 state away from florida and the Bahamas are essentially a boat ride/plane ride away. Heck, I have even been offered to go with friends on their own personal boats sailing down there and have never done it. How stupid am I? I usually live at the chance to go to any and all beaches because you can never find two of the same which makes it fun.
The weather is exactly as you would expect it being off the tip of Florida if not a bit milder with 80-90 in the summer and 70-80 during the winter. You just want to watch out during hurricane season because we all know how that could turn out. As always though, when you are traveling and especially out of the country, make sure you have the appropriate documentation with you. Basic travel tips can help with your planning of any travel destination. Looking at travel destination guides can help you fit into the culture more quickly and easily as well. I know I have seen some pretty outlandish folks down here touring and our tourist season is, I believe, at least 8 months long. They have no clue what humidity is and don’t believe people who have lived down here. I’m just saying.
So plan out your vacations wisely and fun will be had with all.
