Synthetic grass for pets is always an option when you live near the coast because let’s face it, with the lack of rain, the sun beating down for a good 8 months out of the year, if not longer, and sand everywhere it is somewhat hard for people to grow grass efficiently. I know in my backyard, I have patches of grass here and there and some huge areas with no grass because the sun cannot get to them. Now one of my dogs is a digger and she has trails going through the yard now because apparently I also have a mole and she is digging up the tunnels he is making at night the next day or whenever she gets out. Now the other dog does not dig but she has sprained her ankle from running around the yard and stepping in some of these depressions that I cannot quite fill back up with dirt from the first dog. It gets to be a hassle after a while because you have to go buy dirt to make it level again.
Now with synthetic grass there is no mowing or keeping weeds out. You may or may not have an issue with a mole but that might that depend on the mole I guess. You will still have to pick up leaves but that should be easier I would think. The dogs will have green grass year round which is a plus. No more holes not completely filled in because of digging. Easy clean up of the poo. What more could you ask for?
More advantages of the artifical grass is that it is environment friendly, low maintenance and no more watering to get the grass to grow.
