Well, in just a few short days (July 16, 2005) we’ll have our new twin tower bridge open for the masses. It’s been a long time in the making. This new 8-lane bridge will help ease alot of traffic coming into and out of Mt. Pleasant. The other two bridges (Grace Memorial Bridge & The Pearman Bridge) will be demolished and turned into artificial reefs along the coast. This new bridge will even have bike and pedestrian walkways which will be a plus. Now people can get their exercise with an excellent view way up high.
