You growing up I didn’t have all the cool toys they have out now. I’m sure I would have had any of the science kits that are out there now. I was thrilled when we got our first Tandy computer and another computer I cannot quite remember but I was writing program in that for hours.
Maybe if I had had 300-in-One Electronic Science Lab I could’ve expanded on some of that geekiness. You get to build a transister radio, burglar alarm, digital light dimmer, etc. Imagine building something that actually is functional. It is a total thrill for any child. Then again, anatomy models are just cool because you can take out the organs in the skeleton and put them back in. The woman anatomy even has parts that represent pregnancy. Now that would be an interesting item to use for children to learn on. You get to use your artistic side on this project by painting it and it comes with a full-illustrated introduction to anatomy. This way you might be able to tell if your children are going to be squimish about body parts and might not be a good choice to be a surgeon. Now this might have also interested me is a robot kit because that essentially goes hand in hand with computers which I have always been interested in.
Every child should have all the chances that they can growing up to decide on what they would like to study later on in high school and college to pick a career that they are interested in and would like to do for the rest of their life.

That’s funny you have a post about this, we used to sell these when I worked at Radioshack. They’re pretty fun and you learn a ton.
