I think some people don’t give animals enough credit about what’s going on or what/who is missing. When my cat died my dog kept searching the entire place trying to find her. Recently this same dog had to have her nails quicked again because we can’t seem to keep them short because she doesn’t work them enough in the backyard like my other one who digs. Well she went in and I picked her up yesterday afternoon and she has pretty short nails now as you can tell but when I got home to let the little one out and take her in to get her dewclaws clipped she refused to go out until she searched for Pepper. It was cute. I pushed her out so she could go to the bathroom and then told her “let’s go get Pepper” and she came running lol When I got to the vets she was excited to see Pepper and then we all came home and they played in the backyard

1. What a sweet story…my kitties don’t have a really strong bond but I think if one were missing it might freak the other out.

2. Probably would because they know there supposed to be around and even though they might not be close, its part of their own comfort zone to know the other one is around
