Am I in Space?

You know when we first went into space they showed us the food they would be eating in tubes and I thought are they kidding me? Then I wondered how they were going to take showers, go to the bathroom, etc. Well we got shown how they would be doing that to but for the life of me I cannot recall how they would be washing their hair. Now I have long thick hair. Even most recently I just got about 8 inches taken off because I was tired of sitting on it. But it makes you wonder, how would I wash my hair while in space should I ever go up there? Heck it annoys me just to go a day down here on earth without washing my hair. I guess I just need that clean feeling and smell I get from washing it.

However, there are times where I could see this being used. Once in a blue moon I will be late getting up for something and won’t have time to wash my hair because that really does take a while and so I could use the dry shampoo for it. I do wonder if it gives you the same clean feeling as it says it does just like if you wash your hair normally. Using this type of shampoo would eliminate some tangles I sometimes get when I do not put enough conditioner in my hair too. I do like the fact that they have different versions for different colored hair. I am not quite sure how that plays into the equation but it is quite interesting.

  1. Hairs probably don’t need to be washed while in space considering the environment (no dust, odor, sun-induced sweat). I have tried dry shampoo and yes it does give you the clean feeling, for a while. It gave me dandruff. :???:
