Okay, so I finally went and saw this movie tonight because I didn’t want to see any of the multitude of chick flicks out there since I wasn’t able to get to the gym because I had to take my BIL to my nurses house to check out her car. I swear the dealerships can see her coming a mile away. They wanted at the minimum $2,000 to fix her 99 Toyota Camry. My BIL checked that out the paperwork they sent home with her and the car and said are you kidding me? He’s going to fix it this weekend for her. I cannot tell you how nice it is to have a mechanic in the family.
So anyways, back to the movie. It was a great laugh considering I’ve been in the shittiest of moods lately. Everything has been pissing me off. But you don’t give a rats ass about that, Alvin was hysterical. They sang all the songs we know and love from the cartoons. I found it interesting that Jesse McCartney was the voice of Theodore. He must’ve dropped off the face of the earth after that one series on the WB was canceled. David Cross was a great villain and Jason Lee was of course excellent.

I took my mom to see it when it came out and we both loved it! I can’t wait for it to be on DVD!
