A Day in the Life of

So yesterday was somewhat interesting. I had finally had enough of my long hair as it kept giving me a headache from having it pulled up all the time because I have to have it so tight due to the sheer volume and weight of it. As soon as my coworker came in I told her she HAD to cut my hair and boy did she ever. It actually is a bit shorter than I would like just above my shoulder blades but it grows so I’m cool. I also colored it again last night since all my grays were showing but I swear I need to get it done professionally soon because the blond keeps turning my hair a strawberry blond and I despise red.

Then I was covering someones phones for 2 weeks and honestly I didn’t think she would come in yesterday after just flying back on Thursday but she did and brought me a bottle of Crown *woo*

The sucky part was the fact that I finally caught what everyone else had and got an ear infection to boot. My ear at least is not burning hot today nor is my jaw hurting as I got a Z-Pak to start yesterday for all of this garbage. My chest is really congested.

Then to top it all off on the way home to where I need to get to every single way was blocked with some sort of accident. One exit was completely shut down. Another exit was backed up due to a road being shut down due to a separate accident on the way which I need to go. Then I took the only other exit into the city and that had an accident right on the overpass. I mean seriously??? It took me an hour and a half to get home.

And now I’m eating some homemade banana bread since I had some over ripe bananas and I only like eating them when they have a hint of green on them :)

My mom had something like the flu-bad cough, fever, aches- and she’s still congested-going into her 2nd week with it. All she got was Amoxicillin which really doesn’t work well, not to mention it won’t work at all on a virus- I guess it could have kept it from going into pneumonia-if it went into bronchitis. Like I’m a doctor. I diagnose everyone.
