Yes, I know it is late but it is up now
Name four things you ate in the high school cafeteria.
Well this is sort of hard because I mainly brought my lunch for my freshman year when I got banned from one of the lunchrooms for a food fight. The other cafeteria wasn’t the cool one so I didn’t go to that one. Yep, we had two cafeterias.
Sophmore/Junior year I believe I brought lunch as well. The cafeteria food was nasty and that was being kind. Think back in the 80s era.
Now my senior year without fail I went to the ROTC office for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast consisted of a package of peanut butter cookies (protein) and a Dr. Pepper. Lunch consisted of a Mr. Goodbar (again protein from the peanuts), cheetos, and a Dr. Pepper. Usually on the way out I’d snag a flavored candy stick and another Dr. Pepper. Horrid I know but I can tell you it didn’t affect my weight one iota. I weight 105 when I graduated high school at 5″8′. Granted I’ll never see that again but those were the times back in high school.
I quickly announced who won the giveaway in the comments of the post but wanted to put it out there for the world to see as I was rushing to do something yesterday. I used the “And the Winner Is” Plugin for WordPress to choose for me. Donna won the giveaway for the bamboo cutting board and coupon for a free Freschetta pizza.
Congrats!

Name four things you’ve eaten in a hospital and share if they were tasty or not so good.
Well, since I work at a hospital I have ample knowledge of this. It has gotten somewhat better over the years but the prices are absolutely insane if you are actually paying for the food.
1. Taco salads are good but they hardly have them anymore since they remodeled the place, yet again.
2. Avoid the pasta stuff no matter what it is especially when it looks dry and flat.
3. Breakfast is usually always good and the best for your value.
4. Some of the vegetables are questionable.
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FRESCHETTA® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Pizza is a staple in anybodies home if you have ask me. I remember growing up and waiting for this yummy goodness to be delivered to the house on some nights so we could devour it. Even more so when I stayed at my best friends house. When you just could not wait for the pizza man to get to your house your other option was the frozen pizza. I remember when some of the frozen pizzas came out. They were more cardboard and bland tasting than anything.
My oh my how things have changed. FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ is the new kid on the block and I was happily given a coupon to test it out. My local store had two options to choose from. One was the Hawaiian Style and the other was the Harvest Supreme. I chose the Harvest Supreme and was not disappointed at all. When you eat pizza you expect the spices to burst in your mouth and Freschetta does not disappoint. There were so many toppings on this I had to keep picking them up off of the plate to put them back on the pizza to eat them. I also loved the thin crust and made mine crispy. No cardboard taste here. All fresh vegetables and wonderful cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging as well. Normally you expect big boxes to hold your pizza but Freschetta has taken a step further to cut out some of the waste and compact the packaging by 30% compared to others.
Freschetta will soon be offering a $2.00 off coupon for FRESCHETTA® Simply Inspired on their facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/FreschettaSimplyInspired. You might also want to follow them on Twitter at @FreschettaSI after you Like their facebook page because they will be giving away prizes on a weekly basis through the rest of 2011.
