I found this meme on another blog and tracked it back to the originator. There are some interesting questions and a great way to know me a little more. You can check it out at Meet Me on Monday Meme. Here goes…
1. What are you wearing right now?
Capri’s and a button up shirt. We have mid 80s for the weather today.
2. Do you have any freckles?

3. What is your favorite Lifesaver flavor?
Whatever the red colored ones are.
4. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
Hmm, my still to write posts have me at The Tourist but I know I saw one after that and I think it was The Mechanic.
5. Would you rather live without tv or without music?
Without music.

1. What type of pasta is your favorite?
I don’t really have a favorite per say. I do like the fettuccine noodles though so long as they are multigrain or whole wheat. Heck, even the spinach flavored ones are good.
2. Is there a type of pasta that you don’t like at all?
I’m not crazy about penne.
3. What’s your favorite ravioli filling?
Meat definitely. I can’t stomach the cheese filled ones.
4. Do you use regular or no-bake lasagna noodles?
There’s a difference? I’m not sure I’ve even see no-bake lasagna noodles to tell you the truth. I just use the regular noodles and make the dish. Seems to work.
Well, I think I finally almost have my living room set the way I want it now that I have the new TV stand and humongous TV in here
I was lucky in that the UPS guy dropped my package off fairly early considering all my deliveries are usually closer to 6 PM so I was able to start putting the TV stand together sooner than expected. I was probably 3/4 done with the TV stand when one of my friends who was going to help me pick up my TV from KMart called and said he was on his way. I was getting more excited folks because I have been wanting a flat panel TV for ages.
So, we picked up the TV and decided to have some lunch since neither one of us had eaten. Then we headed home with the new TV. I kept getting new directions on where to drop it off at too. I guess that was to be expected. I’m a little disappointed in that I should have called my cable company to set up them on coming over to install the digital preferred plus package so I could enjoy my digital channels the same day I get the TV but alas that wasn’t meant to be. So now I have to wait until I get another day off which will be March 11th to have them come over and set it up. Then peoples I will have the NFL Network! I’m super excited because I dearly LOVE football and I hope the talks go well and we have a season this year.
And now the TV stand and TV all set up. Since the picture was taken I have placed my kitty urn to the left of the TV and a couple candles in front that do not obstruct the view. I also moved the speakers for my stereo to one on each side. My plan for the weekend is to watch A LOT of TV lol That is after I get a few errands done today too. I have to bring my 23″ and 19″ TV’s that no longer work to BestBuy for their recycle program. Not a bad deal. I give them $10 for each thing I bring and they give me the same amount in a BestBuy gift card. While I am there I can finally get the adapter for my printer to connect to my router so I can have WiFi printing in this place so I don’t have to keep trekking upstairs. I’m all about the laziness if you have not guessed yet. I also need to rehang one of my paintings on another wall and get some floating shelves as well for the living room and then it will be complete.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Evie. All opinions are 100% mine.
Evie works with your AT&T Navigator when you search for locations. Evie uses your current location and gives you voice commands to your destination. The app requires the use of a data plan and is 5.2 MB. If you have your iPhone set up to play through your speakers in the car Evie will also work. You can also use an A2DP bluetooth headset to talk to Evie. Everyone should have a bluetooth headset in their car anyway. Honestly, this sounds like a great app and I hope it gets developed for other platforms too so everybody has access to this application.
Is there such a thing? With all of the medical advances in the past centuries one would think this is possible but alas it is not so. I don’t know about you but for me personally I’ve gained weight as I’ve aged which I go to the gym to keep down now and watch what I eat. Then there are those dark circles under the eyes and age lines on my face. Not sure those can be fixed without plastic surgery which I refuse to have done. Then I have bulging disks in my lower back as well as arthritis in the same place which doesn’t help the situation. I can almost see myself when I’m old and decrepit with the onset of Alzheimer’s falling somewhere with my poor back and no one to help me. Sometimes it is a fact of life when you are bound and determined to be independent.
I could see myself like this woman with the walker and a bull horn on the walker to get the people to move out of my way. I’d be bent over because of my back and eventually probably fall somewhere either at home or out. What to do then? Well hopefully I’m not lazy and obtain a medical alert systems. I can’t see the animals calling 911 to help me and I actually know/known other people who have this system or have had as they have passed away and it really is a comfort to know that someone will come to help if something happens when no one is around. It is a comfort to the elderly person and for the family who cares for them. Don’t be afraid to ask for something like this in your home.
