I took off on another Friday to go see this movie during the day. Of course there were kids in the theatre again, do they ever go to school?? I bought my ticket online because I wasn’t sure I’d get one when I got to the theatre but it was not completely full but you never can tell. As soon as I got in there some guy had his foot on the arm rest of the seat I chose to sit in and you would assume if you see someone coming to that seat you’d get your foot off of it..um yeah..wasn’t that day. I purposely put my arm on the rest to knock it off…hello I don’t need to smell your foot in my face.

Anyways, the movie was great. I never believe what critics say because they have no sense of anything when they review them. I would almost bet there will be a 3rd movie now too with the way they left it. A lot of action and the one part which was in the trailers on the TV where he is looking at a report about himself when he was evaluated by the SHIELD agent was priceless. I guess Mickie Rourke can still find parts for himself too even after all of his plastic surgery disasters.

Oh and lookit that, I was reading on IMDB.com just now under Jon Favreau’s profile as he was the director and one of the characters that he wants Manderin for Iron Man 3 villian. I knew there had to be another one coming out. I love the Iron Man comics.

Okay, admit it. How many of you realized it was Star Wars Day? I didn’t. I’m shocked that I didn’t know anything about this. I dearly love Star Wars and was seriously thinking about going to the Star Wars convention in Florida this August. Still trying to convince a friend to go with me because he’s a big fan too and its more fun to do road trips with someone else since we live so close we will be driving.

I’m a bit confused on why they chose this day though since the first movie didn’t actually come out until May 25, 1977. Of course its not official but who really stops anybody from making days up.

And you know what that means, vacation time. It just so happens that one of the nurses in the clinic is going to be heading to Las Vegas in a week or two staying at the Sahara if I remember correctly. I was there years ago for a friends wedding and stayed at the Stardust right before they tore it down. I’m not even sure what they replaced it with since I have not been back since. I love gambling and playing blackjack and/or poker are my favorite. Since I do not live anywhere near there I have to resort to playing online.

Yes folks one can have too much sun at any given time. I was outside yesterday in the pool for HOURS. Normally this is not an issue for me but when you forget to reapply sunscreen from getting in and out of the pool you pay for it and boy am I paying for it. I’m almost purple in some spots from all that damn sun. I must have used enough sunscreen on my tattoos though because those didn’t get any sun at all as I was using the SPF 50. Sun will fade tattoos in case you did not know.

Anywhoo, just thought I’d share and hopefully the pain will go away soon. I’m all lotioned up in the meantime and will stay that way for a few days.

On an aside: Who’s ready to watch Iron Man 2 this Friday? I AM and will be off to do just that lol I have to take the dogs to get their puppy jail shots before the movie first though. Gonna sneak in some twizzlers to eat too maybe.

If you happen to be some of the lucky few, you have no need for contacts or eyeglasses. However, I’m sure there are plenty of people like me who have to have these in order just to see a foot in front of your face. Quite annoying if you ask me. The cost is the only thing that hinders me from obtaining it because I am a candidate for it. I would love to be able to wake up and be able to see everything without having to worry about contacts or glasses. I’m actually scared traveling because I can’t afford to lose any of that and keep it with me in a backpack with all of my electronic equipment and accessories because, lets face it, your baggage may not make it with you to your destination.
