Really, with just over a year left to obtain my 20 years in the state system I could potentially be looking for another place to live in a brand new city and with it a brand new job. But where would be the question. Well, not the only question either because I would want to be looking for a newer apartment/duplex or house than what I am currently living in. Something that would not need too much work and actually have a managed company renting it because, let’s face it, private owners aren’t the best at fixing things properly. Believe me, I know. The draft downstairs has just been insane these past few weeks. I can only guess at what my electric bill will be since it is not up yet.

I’m always watching HGTV and their TV shows which include Property Virgins, House Hunters, and Bang for you Buck just to mention a few. You watch as these people go around looking at rentals and/or homes to rent or buy and it makes you wonder will that be you some day? What sort of shape are the apartments in that I would want to even think about and would there be a realtor around should I need help? Then you have to see what sort of amenities come with the property. I mean could I someday be looking at Philadelphia apartments in the near future? Possibly but I think I may need to watch more of the TV shows and wait for my stupid brother in laws boat repo to go off of my credit first. Ya, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, never help your relatives out when it comes to money.

Nah, I don’t believe in resolutions.
2. What’s one thing you’d like to learn how to make from scratch this year?
Hmm, anything yummy works for me. I mean I would love to know how to make cheesecake but then again I don’t NEED to make it either lol
3. What’s the most unusual thing in your cabinet, refrigerator or freezer right now?
Nothing out of the ordinary in my cabinets. I’m not that into exotic foods or spices. I guess if you wanted to get down to it though I have a box of dog biscuits right next to my cereal. That unusual enough?
4. What kind of can opener do you have?
I believe mines called Oxygrip? It’s one of those easy grip hand crank can openers. I believe I got it off of cooking.com where I usually get most of my stuff because they sell the Calphalon and you know that’s not cheap.
