Tons of Cool Whip.

Whatever is available. I’m not picky.
Finally have the fuel pump fixed and gonna get a whole new set of tires tomorrow as well as an alignment so I can speed again. Now I wonder what else will break next. I just have that luck people. Oh, the fuel filter was clogged too which got replaced. At least he didn’t find anything else that was pressing that I need to fix but as stated before, only a matter of time lol I know the timing belt might be next but that won’t happen for a few months if not a year I would think.
So yesterday while I was making calls and such for parts and someone to replace them in my car I finally called my local cable company to find out why I was paying so much more for my service than what they were advertising on the TV and then a price even cheaper on the internet. If you go by the internet I was paying $100 more. The lady looked up my account and said well I did have an old package since I have been such a long time customer. She said I could get the package they were offering on the TV but would have to pay $10 more because I was not a new customer. That worked for me. And because of my telephone options for private number and phone line assurance $10 more bucks. I still come out $55 less than what I am paying currently. Now that’s something. I should have called earlier but didn’t. It always pays some times to ask.
Recently in some of my chisel and aerobic classes the instructors are already warning us to be mindful of our eating habits during the holidays. Skip over that extra piece of pie or watch that extra portion of gravy. Most people put on weight during the holidays and they mentioned that we should start now so we do not over eat. This whole weight gain actually starts at Halloween with all the candy the kids bring home. I have worked hard to get my weight down and can only hope I don’t put on but may be a pound or two at the most but ideally none would be great.
With that in mind we could all use some healthy and useful Thanksgiving Recipes. There is a Roast Turkey with Herbal Rub that I find very appealing and will have to try on some turkey cutlets that I recently bought. It is very difficult to find turkey breasts alone. For the families who want to start a Thanksgiving tradition of their own this is a very informative site to peruse for ideas and recipes. I also found some Banana Bread recipes to try out. I have one recipe that I use all the time but a few of theirs has an even more banana use than what mine called for and I dearly love bananas.
The MomsWhoThink website is very eye appealing as well as informative. I can only imagine that quite a few mothers in various professions have contributed their own recipes and knowledge to the website. MomsWhoThink is a must for expecting, new and seasoned mothers. The website also caters to single people as well just from their recipe selection such as the Easy Recipes section which I found interesting due to the crock pot recipes. With working all day at the hospital, I always try to find crock pot recipes that will cook long enough while I’m at work and be ready when I get home but not overcooked.
MomsWhoThink also has Thanksgiving activities for the family to do such as cooking together to help bring the kids in on the experience so they feel just as important in helping make a great meal for the entire family. This can be from just mixing some stuffing together to helping make some cookies as well as decorating them. They have accomplished something that everyone can enjoy and maybe want to be more proactive about helping out even during everyday dinners. I recommend this website to any and everyone with or without children.
Found a fuel pump through a friend for $210.00 and lucky me he even knows how to fix it and will do it for free although I will still give him some money or a meal or something for all his help. I still need to get a full round of tires though because as I was walking to the car when my friend was picking me up I noticed some of the rubber stripped on the tire at the top. Only a few more time driving that sucker and that tire will blow out. I don’t mind me crashing in it and getting injured but I will have to cart my mother to and fro to work next month because she will have to have surgery and can’t drive and I don’t want to be responsible for her getting injured.
Probably have this sucker fixed tomorrow then once I pick up the part today. Just waiting on the guy to get back from lunch and I can go pick it up. Why is it cars want to start breaking down when they are almost paid for?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.
Many families like going on vacations during the holidays because schools out. We mainly took our family vacations to Florida during the summer and we drove. Some families have the means to go to the mountains or ski resorts during the holidays which would be fun. It’s always good to go to other places and see how they go all out for the holidays especially Christmas but more importantly to actually explore any new city even if it is one 50 miles from your own house. Heck, I still go on tours in my own city because I have either not been to certain places or I want to see how much of it has grown.
The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel has Santa coming and I can only imagine how the hotel will be decorated. I love looking at the decorations for Christmas. The Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is even pet friendly so you can bring your furry children as well which I personally find as a positive. It does get competitive to put them in kennels over the holidays and can be expensive. I would love to see an ice skating rink in the vicinity too and knowing they have a lake nearby I wonder if any part of that freezes well enough to do that. There are many holiday packages available now through the end of the year if you are thinking about visiting and exploring the area on your own. Of course they have spa packages as well if you are looking for a getaway on your own for some peace and quiet.
