1. Name one bad habit you have in the kitchen.
May not be bad but people can’t stand it when I’m cooking and cleaning as I use the pots and pans because they cannot go into the dishwasher. Sometimes though I’ll leave them covered on the stove for a day before cleaning them
2. Do you have a tv in the kitchen?
Nope, but it’s an idea.
3. What’s one food you can’t stand cold?
Pizza. I despise cold pizza.
4. What’s your favorite juice?
Strawberry kiwi. I love the mixed juices. Then there is the old standby of apple and orange juice.

So I decided to try to clean up my yard a bit last week while I was off for 3 days when this ant pile was unnerving me. I had smashed it down quite a few times, ran over it with the lawnmower and finally decided to light the sucker on fire only to have them build a small ant hill right next to the one that was on fire. They didn’t travel much but apparently I didn’t get all of them.

Beyond that I still have a mole issue and I think they have made baby moles now because they are everywhere. I have tunnels in the front yard and holes in the backyard where the dogs have been digging trying to find them is all I can think of. Banged up my legs mowing over the shells from the black walnuts the squirrels have been so kind to leave me.

Growing up we moved to Germany for 4 years as I was an Air Force brat. Was nice having that experience overseas but awfully frigid as it was cold just about all the time. I do remember though that Halloween on base was something special as each of our apartment buildings would make up the most scariest scene we could think of and in our building I remember one of the people dressed up as a mummy and was in a coffin to scare the kids when they came in to get the candy. We had one of those winding stairwell cases so it was in the foray and made the perfect setting.

Wouldn’t it be great to visit some place overseas like Australia, which I have yet to visit, to see how they celebrate holidays? Imagine having no snow on Christmas though and wearing shorts and a t-shirt because they have summer for our winter. I remember a few times here where we were running around in shorts and a t-shirt because it was warm enough.

I just wish I had enough money right now to use the super bargains that Accor has going on right now because I surely have the time with a total of 22 days off before the end of the year. Since we just lost our AirTran option airline prices have already started going up and I’m sure by the time I would need to get the airfare I’d have a hotel room in a great place but no way to get there.

Okay, since everybody knows I’m on the hunt for a part time job. I figured I’d post some links of where I have been looking in case you haven’t heard of any of them and could use them. These are in no particular order.

3. Snag A Job
4 and 5. Local sites which have no use for you guys but I can post them if you happen to be in SC. One is a federal job site and another is just a local site for SC.
6. Local newspaper online

I also hit up all the local stores websites and fill out applications. So far nothing. It’s a sad state of affairs people.

Craigslist sort of scares me too with some of the ads. I mean, really, who exactly will apply for porn? Are they even allowed to post jobs like that on a public forum?

Why exactly do they have 3 different versions of a car battery? I’m all for the cheapest one so long as it will make my car run. I got a jump this morning and got to work praying I did not stall the car at all because just my luck I’d end up doing that during traffic which was horrid and be stranded. I should have just ridden with my friend and dealt with the car when I got home. As soon as I pulled into the garage and shut the car off it died a fast death. I knew the battery was toast then and would need a jump when I was leaving. Called Public Safety and they took their sweet ass time getting to me and in the meantime I saw at least 40 cars pass by me on the way home. I was standing beside my car waiting for Public Safety to show up in a vehicle and did not want them to miss me.

I get over to Autozone and they test the battery and it cut the actual machine off because it was so dead lol Guess that was a new one on them. I guess it was a good life for the battery as it is original to the vehicle and lasted almost 6 years. They got me for $60.84. Luckily I get paid Wednesday so I just wrote them a check.
